With an aim to cultivate the value of unity amongst the young citizens, the Assembly was based on the age-old maxim ‘Sangathan mein hi shakti hai’ (Unity is strength). It was conducted by the students of Grade V.

The Assembly began with a chanting of shloks and a prayer. This was followed by the Thought for the day delivered by Krishna Verma. A very encouraging poem ‘Saathi haath badhaana…..’ was recited by a group of students. They also enacted a skit, illustrating the importance of unity.

The Assembly did reinforce the belief that nothing can break us if we stand firmly united.

29^th August, the birth anniversary of the legendary Hockey Wizard, Major Dhyan Chand, is celebrated as the National Sports Day, also known as the Rashtriya Khel Diwas. Our Sports Incharge, Mr Sarvesh Pandey illuminated everyone on this occasion by sharing valuable information about Maj. Dhyan Chand and his achievements. He also talked about the various National Sports Awards and their recipients.
