Delhi Public World School, Zirakpur shines in Taekwondo

A Special Assembly was conducted in Delhi Public World School to mark the birthday of the first Sikh Guru Nanak Devji, who gave the world the message of simplicity and honesty.
The students sang hymns and ‘shabad’ conveying his teachings. Two students of Grade III recited a poem.
It was also a day of awards and honours. A group of our students had represented the School in the Tricity Taekwondo Championship at Shaheed Udham Singh Bhavan, Sector 44-C, Chandigarh. They brought laurels by bagging one Gold, two Silver and one Bronze Medal.
The Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Nagranee congratulated all the winners and hoped that our students keep the banner of DPWS, Zirakpur flying high.
