‘As the birds are made to fly and rivers to run, so the soul to follow duty.’
The duty of being righteous in deeds and words. And the festival of Dussehra symbolises the victory of good over evil and carries a big message. It sends a message that in a battle of right and wrong, righteousness always triumphs.
To mark this occasion, the students of DWPS conducted a Special Assembly in the School Atrium wherein a short skit depicting the life of Rama and the battle of Lanka was staged. A very tuneful song on Rama’s virtuousness by the choir, comprising our little singers from Grades II and III, added rhythm and melody to the air.
