Delhi Public World School, Zirakpur, has carved out a niche for itself by producing little stars in all sports activities.

Our students participated in the Tricity Taekwondo Championships held at Shaheed Udham Singh Bhawan, Sector 44-C and Stepping Stones School, Chandigarh. They allured everyone and did us all proud with their breathtaking performances and very proudly walked off with medals in their bags.

There were winners in both the boys’ and the girls’ categories. In the girls’ category Nandini Goyal (III) won a Gold, Khushpreet Kaur (III) got a Silver while Naina Rana (IV) and Chahek Mittal (III) had to suffice with a Bronze each.

In the boys’ category Shivrattan Gondhi (VI), RamitMukherjee (VIII) and Kabeer Goyal (VII) walked off with a Silver each whereas Sriram Tewari (IV), Shaurya Gangwar (IV), and Pranjal Rana (VII) managed to win a Bronze each.
