DPS World School Zirakpur shows the way………

The
began in DPS World School with a special assembly today. The morning began on an auspicious note with the Lighting of the Lamp by our Chairman, Mr Kewal Garg and our Principal, Mrs Jyoti Nagranee to the chant of the mantras. A skit by the students focused on the ill-effects of bursting crackers. All the students pledged to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali.
Ma’am Soma Chowdhary gave an enlightening talk on the meaning of Diwali and how we can spread happiness by sharing and helping others. A melodious Diwali song and a rollicking dance added color to the festivities. The little ones came in their festive best. They sparkled like the little stars they are!!
As part of Diwali celebrations DPS World Zirakpur organized a Rangoli making activity in the Atrium. The children were at their creative best as they made the most beautiful and eye catching patterns using flowers and vivid rangoli colors. The day ended with a sumptuous feast for the staff with Diwali gifts.
