Education, these days, is not just about imparting bookish knowledge. It also means sensitizing children about the neighbourhood they are a part of. Learning becomes meaningful and fun-filled when children are in harmony with their surroundings.
With an aim to acquaint them with neighbourhood services and markets, the students of Grades I to III were taken to visit a Mall, as part of their Co-curricular activity. They were accompanied by their teachers.
Upon reaching there, they were taken around the place and shown how a Mall functions, with all the people’s needs being met under one roof. They enjoyed looking at the displays in the windows of shops. They learnt about the ways in which a Mall is different from a market.
They all came back feeling informed and rejuvenated.
