“Gokul mein jo kareniwas,
Gopiyon sang jo rachayeraas,
Devki-Yashoda jinkimaiya,

Janmashtami is a grand festival celebrated all over India to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, who is believed to be the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
The festival is celebrated with great fervour and zeal in India during the monsoon month. According to the Hindu calendar, this religious festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksh or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon.
To keep up the spirit of Janmashtami high in the times of this pandemic, our little ones of Grades Pre-Nursery to Grade III indulged in different Art & Craft activities. They made different kinds of Mukuts, Bansuris and Krishna Jhulas to showcase their love and trust for Sri Krishna. All the students enjoyed and participated enthusiastically in different activities and enhanced their creativity and imagination.
Wishing you all a very Happy Janmashtami.
