As the nation prepares to proudly celebrate the spirit of Democracy and Sovereignty for the 71^st time, the students of DWPS hosted a Special Assembly, oozing with heartfelt patriotic fervour.

The Assembly began with a very soulful rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’, stirring the most intense nationalist feelings. This was followed by a short musical based on religious harmony by the students of Grade IV-A. The presentation, a feast to the senses, had adrenaline rushing through the blood. The audience was rendered speechless as the girls danced to the heart wrenching and popular number ‘Sandeshe aate hain…’

Thereafter, melodious strains of the National Anthem resonated in the air, bringing the celebrations to an end.
