Kabaddi, the game of strength and stamina, is a contact team sport originating in India. It received international exposure at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Since then it has become a part of the international sporting events.
The game has also been introduced to our students in this Academic session. The Inter-House matches that were played, concluded today with two final matches played between Narmada and Yamuna for the 3rd and 4th Positions and between Kaveri and Brahmaputra for the 1st and 2nd Positions.
Both the matches were a grand show of dedication, team-spirit and enormous stamina. All the players displayed exhilarating skills and sportsmanship to bag the championship and to make the finals entertaining for everyone present.
Kaveri House emerged victorious followed by Brahmaputra, Narmada and Yamuna respectively.
Principal Maám congratulated all the teams for their exemplary skills.
