As the festival that marks the victory of good over evil dawns, a Special Assembly was held by the students of Grades VI and VII.
Tuneful hymns were sung and a poem on the lives of Ram and Ravana was recited. A skit displaying the strong bond of affection between Ram and Hanuman was staged which was also a message on the affinity between the teacher and the taught. This was followed by a foot-tapping dance number by our dancing divas.
The short but very motivating talk by Ma’am Chhavi Vats was the cherry on the cake. She communicated the need to kill the many Ravans present not just around us but deep in our minds and hearts. Her words left everyone enthralled and to ponder over the need to cleanse our souls.
