Martin Luther King, Jr had said, “All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.”

It is labour indeed, that puts the difference on everything. It is labour that has given the World community all the success that it has so longed for! Realizing the contribution of labour to the World, 1^st May was declared as The International Labour Day.

A Special Assembly was conducted at DPS World, on this occasion to salute and honour all those unsung heroes without whose hardwork and toil this institution wouldn’t have seen this day.

There was a poem on labour by Kushagra Katiyar from Grade V. Vibhavaditya Sahu shared his views on this special day. There was a short skit staged by the students that focused on the dignity of and the vital role played by labour in the upliftment of the nation.

The Principal, Staff and the students felicitated all the Helping Staff to make them know that their services are valued and held in high regard.

The Principal, Mrs Jyoti Nagranee thanked them all for their tireless efforts at helping in the smooth functioning of the School. She held that labour should be honoured everyday and not wait for a special day to realize so. She encouraged all the students to respect every kind of labour.
