We are not just teachers, we are the managers of the world’s greatest resource: CHILDREN.

How true these words are! It is the teachers who shape the destiny of the nations by preparing their future citizens, the children of today. The progress and success of a nation depends on how efficiently its greatest resources are managed.

To mark this occasion and to honour teachers, a Special Assembly was held at Delhi Public World School. It was a moment for the students to express their gratitude to all their teachers.

The students put up an entertainment programme, full of dance, music and fun. They also staged a short but meaningful skit whereby they showcased the relationship between a student and a teacher. The tables turned when the STUDENTS tested their TEACHERS’ knowledge by organizing a Quiz for them. Mr. Ankur Bajaj beat the heat with his rhythmic beats. It was a dance performance on demand by the students.

The Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Nagranee, along with her entire team of Teachers, cut the ceremonial cake which was later feasted upon by all.

In her address to the gathering, Mrs Nagranee extended her wishes to everyone. She encouraged the children to grab every opportunity that comes their way and enhance their learning and skills. She assured them that their teachers will always be there to guide them and light up their way.
