The spirit of Patriotism comes alive..

“Those who won our independence believed liberty to be the secret of happiness and courage to be the secret of liberty.”

It was seventy two years ago that our Motherland and its people got their first flavor of freedom, they breathed their first breath of liberty. It was made possible by the sacrifices of millions of those brave souls.

Delhi World celebrated this spirit of patriotism, commemorating the bravery and sacrifices of the martyrs. After the Flag Hoisting ceremony, the Choir presented a very soul-stirring song in their mellifluous voices. The Nukkar-Naatak highlighted the interpretation of independence in the present context. Principal Ma’am greeted everyone on the occasion and reminded them of their duties and responsibilities towards themselves and their countrymen.

The celebration ended with the distribution of ice-creams amongst all.
