Ever since its inception in April 2016, DPS Word Zirakpur has made every effort to break away from the monotony of rote learning and provide an exemplary environment to its students for their holistic development.

Another feather was added in its cap in the form of the fun-filled Charity Fete which was contributed and organized by the Teachers on the last working day of the year 2016.

Various stalls of eatables and fun-games were put up. Students could be seen flocking at these stalls buying their favourite mouth-watering delicacies or trying their luck at different games. Melodious and rhythmic music resounded in the air.

Since the festival of Christmas is round the corner, students putting up and decorating a Christmas tree lent a festive air to the occasion. Students also put up their wishes and New-year resolutions on a tree. Everyone glowed to the heart’s brim as it was the last working day of this year and also the School was closing for the winter vacation.

The eventful day ended with everyone exchanging Christmas and New Year wishes. There couldn’t have been a better way to bid adieu to this fascinating year!
