As the country is all set to celebrate its 70^th Independence Day, the air is filled with the colours of patriotism.

As a tribute to all those great souls who laid down their lives to free their Motherland from the clutches of the tyrannical British rule, DPS World, Zirakpur, organized a fancy-dress competition for Classes I to III.

Dressed up as great leaders of the freedom movement, all the students looked like real heroes of the country. An aura of patriotism was created when they came up and rocked the stage with their dialogues.

All the participants were at their best but those who emerged as the winners were Harkirat Singh (Class I), Sara Kharbanda (Class III), Girik Sharma (Class I) and Apoorv Jaiswal (Class III). Kiara Sharma (Class I) was awarded a Prize for the ‘Best Self-designed Costume, Shailesh.K (Class I) won the ‘Most Unique Dress’ Prize and the Prize for the ‘Best Dialogue Delivery’ was bagged by Osheen Garg (Class II).

The Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Nagranee, congratulated the winners and all the other participants for putting up such a grand show.
