In the present times when man has made great progress in almost every field, the relationships have lost all warmth and  love. Children, today, need to be taught the basic values that create a bond between all the members of a family and strengthen the familial ties.

On the occasion of International Grandparents Day, DPS World conducted a Special Assembly with the aim of teaching its students how to build up a relationship with their grandparents. The senior students put up a skit where language forms a barrier between the grandson and the grandfather. Eventually, the grandson makes an effort to break that barrier and reach out to his grandpa. The smaller children recited poems and gave tips on how one can show respect to the grandparents.

It was an inspiring and a heart-touching presentation which led everyone to ponder whether we have really lost ourselves amidst all the growth and the success it has brought.
