Intelligence Quotient or IQ has been the talk of the town since times immemorial. But in today’s stressful times it is the Emotional Quotient or EQ which calls for a concern.

DPWS organized a seminar for its Teachers and parents to help them understand and deal with this burning issue which would help them to handle their children better.. It was conducted by Wg. Cdr. H.S. Chimny and Ms. Sanjoli Chimny from the ‘Mind and Heart Foundation’

The session began on a very interactive note by Ms. Sanjoli Chimny asking everyone to jot down their goals. She then went forth to discuss the skills required for the realization of those goals. She focused her discussion on how to handle or regulate emotions. It is only when we learn to handle our emotions and be self aware that we begin to look at the world around us with a clearer vision.

There were ice-breaking video and music sessions which were enjoyed by all and left everyone with a thought to ponder –
