The spirit of The Earth Day at Delhi World

The Earth Day was celebrated by the students of The Roseland.

In the words of Sydney Sheldon, the accomplished writer, “Try to leave the Earth a better place than when you arrived.”
With this thought in mind and to sensitize our younger generation about the challenges of the earth, the week Long World Earth Day celebrations with students participating in creative activities like slogan writing, card making, poster making and poem writing displaying their artistic and linguistic skills besides showcasing their awareness about conserving natural resources, concluded today at Delhi World, with a Special Assembly in the School Atrium.
The choir presented a mellifluous song on the occasion. While Anubha Dhawan of Grade VII recited a very thought provoking poem, students familiarized the gathering with the contributions made by the few renowned environmentalists towards environmental conservation. The street play by the students of Grade VII held everyone spellbound and proved to be a food for thought.
The Assembly concluded with a very sprightly dance by the students.
