Eat healthy, stay healthy.
It is believed that a healthy meal (tiffin for students) is a prerequisite for a healthy and fit life. It is very crucial for young children to eat healthy and nutritious food to help in a balanced growth of their bodies.
A workshop on ‘Healthy Tiffins’ was conducted by our In-house Doctor, Dr. Ruchi Bansal.
Dr. Bansal began by explaining what a balanced diet is. She furthered it by stressing upon the need and the value of bringing a healthy tiffin to school. There was an enlightening presentation on what all should be a part of their tiffins. A very interesting but a motivational film, focusing on eating fresh fruits and vegetables, was played to encourage students to make them a compulsory part of their daily meals.
There was an interactive session whereby the queries of the students were resolved.
