‘Hub of Learning’ is an initiative of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi wherein all the CBSE schools across the country participate in various Inter-School events to foster the spirit of healthy competition and aid learning.
An Inter-School Kho-Kho Championship was organized, at Delhi World, Zirakpur, under this initiative. The teams that participated in the championship were St. Joseph’s School, Surat Manauli, The Knowledge Bus Global School, Mohali and Delhi World Public School, Zirakpur.
In the first league match, the team from The Knowledge Bus Global School won the toss and decided to chase the team from St. Joseph’s School followed by a match between the Delhi World team and the St. Joseph’s team. It was a splendid show of vigour and enthusiasm which held everyone spellbound.
Each team played two matches. The 1st Runners-up were St. Joseph’s followed by The Knowledge Bus Global School as the 2nd Runners-up. The team from Delhi World emerged winners and walked away with the Championship Trophy.
The Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Nagranee congratulated all the players for having put up such a breathtaking performance.
