‘Let’s start a great life by conquering five eternal evils – lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego.
Let’s take an oath to give a dimension to our lives this Dussehra.’
Dussehra is the festival that marks the victory of good over evil. It teaches us to conquer all our evils and purify the soul.
A Special Assembly was conducted in the School on this auspicious occasion. It began with a hymn dedicated to Lord Rama, the incarnation of truth. A poem was recited by Arshia Kumar Kailey of Grade III. Thereafter, the students staged a short skit based on the life of Rama and how he had killed the demon king Ravana.
In times when human life is marred with vices like greed, hatred, lust, violence, anger and ego leading to heinous crimes, this festival uplifts the human spirit and reassures the restoration of truth and justice.
Wish everyone a joyous Dussehra. May all the evils in and around you vanish by the virtue of the goodness in and around you!
