In order to give our young learners a different and lasting experience, the students of Grades V-VII, accompanied by their teachers, visited the G.P.O, Sector 17, Chandigarh.

The students went around different sections, witnessing the working of the entire system. They got an insight into processes like segregation of mail, its distribution and stamping.

The thrill at being given the old-time Post cards and Inland Letters was beyond words. Even more exhilarating was the knowledge that they can get their personalized stamps made with their own pictures. Another valuable information given to them was about the scholarship exams for students conducted by the Postal Department.

The students returned home with loads of gainful learning and an experience of a lifetime.
