One of the aims of DPS World, Zirakpur, is to inculcate, in its students, the values of  citizenry so that they grow up to be wise, committed and responsible citizens of the nation.

In keeping with this aim, an Assembly was conducted on ‘Citizenship’.

After the prayer and the News, students presented a short but very inspiring skit based on the values that a good citizen must have. It stimulated, in everyone present there, the feeling of belonging to this country. At the same time it also sent across the message that citizenship also carries some responsibilities with it. A good citizen is the one who realizes and carries out the duties and responsibilities entrusted in him or her.

It proved to be a very encouraging theme for our young learners.
