Delhi Public World School Zirakpur – DPWS goes Golfing

It has been a day of achievements. We launched the long awaited Golf sessions.

Col. Harinder Singh, a renowned name in the field of Golf and an instructor at Chandigarh Golf Club and Brig. J.S Pama very graciously consented to give the budding golfers some basic training sessions and teach them the basics of the game.

They shared valuable information about some of the well-known players and then demonstrated a few techniques of gripping the clubs and playing. Some clubs (golf sticks) were donated as a magnanimous gesture.

Our students are very excited about the sport and who knows…!! Some of them may turn out to be the future Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.
