DWPS celebrates Janamashtami the Roseland way

India is a land of colourful festivals and celebrations.

Janamashtami is one festival that marks the birth of the one who gave us the most valuable lessons on life and management, Lord Krishna.

The Roseland, our Pre-Primary section celebrated the day in its own little way. The little ones were all attired in hues of yellow, as Radhas and Krishnas. They set the stage ablaze as they danced to the beats of ‘Kisna hai…’ As an activity, the students decorated their matkis with cotton and enjoyed a movie on Krishna.

The show-stopper was the ‘Dahi Handi’ wherein one of the little Kanhas impishly broke the Handi containing ‘Dahi’ (or ‘Maakhan’ as the legend says)

Principal Ma’am extended her Janamashtami greetings and encouraged everyone to learn and follow the teachings of Krishna.
