It’s Christmas time…

Long time ago in Bethlehem
So the holy Bible says..
Mary’s boy child, Jesus Christ
Was born on Christmas Day.

A day to mark the birth of the Saviour, the Son of God, the students and the Staff of DWPS, soaked in the spirit of Christmas, began the day with a Special Assembly conducted by Grade II.

Amidst a sea of reds and whites (the favourite colours of Santa), euphonious Carols resonated in the air. The birth of the Christ and the dreams of the three trees coming true was portrayed in the form of a beautiful skit followed by a very informative talk by Ma’am Deepika. The Atrium came alive with the arrival of the children’s favourite Santa (a modern Santa on a Bike – Sir Ankur Bajaj) who came dancing and singing, showering gifts and sweets brought from the North Pole.

The next event of the day was a Christmas Fete organized by the School in the Play Station area. There were stalls of toothsome delicacies and fun games. Eager children could be seen flocking these stalls, wanting to satiate their taste-buds. But the most popular was the amazing ‘BIKE-RIDE’ by Sir Bajaj, our Santa for the day.

The day concluded with the declaration of Santa Prince and Princess which was categorised in three groups. Group 1 comprised Grades I to III, Group 2 was Grades IV to VI and Grades VII to X formed Group 3.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
