Students visit the Vulture farm

The students of Grades VIII and IX, accompanied by their teachers, visited the ‘Jatayu’ Vulture Farm in Chandigarh.

They were given a warm reception and were taken around the place. They learnt about the rapidly falling population of vultures, leading to them being categorized as endangered. The students understood that it is the drug called DICLOFENAC which has caused a grave threat to these birds.

It was an eye-opening trip for them which made them realize their role in conserving the wildlife for saving our Mother Earth from any disaster.
