TALK ON SANITATION AND HYGIENE

There was an interactive session on 16th August, Wednesday, for Grades I to VIII on “Sanitation and Hygiene” by our Medical In-charge Dr. Ruchi Bansal.

The students were acquainted with the scientific reasons behind foul Body Odor (BO) and stinky feet. Also, different ways of maintaining good personal hygiene were discussed and the students were encouraged to brush their teeth twice a day. Furthermore, preventive measures for Mosquito Menace were taught using the formula of 7D’s i.e. Drain, Defend, Doors, Dress, District, and Dawn and Dusk. There was a short but very educative video to explain the right techniques of washing hands following 12 simple steps.

The workshop was aimed at sending across the message, “Being healthy is not a goal; it’s only a way of living. So, if you want to stand out in the crowd, stand out for looking and smelling good.”
