Delhi Public World School Zirakpur – The spirit of Christmas at The Roseland

This time of the year is marked not so much for the cold airs and the snows as for the spirit of Christmas. The world celebrates the birth of the ‘Son of God’, the savior of mankind.

Our Pre-Primary wing, The Roseland celebrated Christmas amidst cheers and laughter galore. There were Santas all around as the students and the teachers were dressed in red with Santa caps. A young speaker shared the importance of the day with everyone very impressively. The little ones charmed everyone with their performance in the nativity play, displaying the birth of Jesus. Students of Prep and Nursery rocked the floor as they danced to the melodious beats of ‘Last Christmas’. Not to be missed was the rhyme ‘I’m a little Christmas tree’, by the Nursery students.

No Christmas celebration is complete without ‘Jingle bells’ and the Santa coming and distributing little gifts. This is perhaps the most awaited moment of all. Our Santa (Ma’am Pooja Tewari) grabbed everyone’s attention as (s)he distributed muffins among all the students.
