DPS World organized a workshop on ‘Classroom Etiquette’ for the students of Grades I-III. It was conducted by Dr. Divya, the resident doctor.

The students were educated about basic classroom manners. The followings points were emphasized:-

– Value of patience in class
– Use of courteous words like please, thank you, welcome etc.
– Classroom do’s and don’t
– Conduct during recess
– Preparation for the lesson
– Bullying a big ‘no-no’
– Advantages and disadvantages of forming groups

The students listened attentively. There was an overwhelming response at the end of the workshop. Improvement strategies were discussed, where children participated enthusiastically and suggested simple and effective ways to improve themselves.
