Christmas Celebrations and Rangotsav at DPS World

‘Faith makes all things possible, hope makes all things work, love makes all things beautiful.’ A savior was born on this earth who taught the lessons of peace, forgiveness and goodwill to all. That savior was the Son of God whom the world knows as Jesus Christ. He was born on 25th December in the small town of Bethlehem. He was a messiah for the innocent who gave up his life, invoking forgiveness for his tormenters – ‘Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.’ The birthday of this prophet is celebrated, the world over, as Christmas Day. A Special Assembly was conducted at DPS World to mark this auspicious day. It all began with a prayer to the Lord to bless every soul on this earth and to thank him for the many blessings he has showered on us. Students shared Jesus’s teachings. Our little toddlers recited a poem dedicated to their loving Santa. The major attraction of the day was the Nativity Play that exhibited the birth of Jesus Christ in a manger. Little students in the attires of angels and the Three Wise Men stole everybody’s heart. Melodious Carols reverberated in the air as the birth of the Lord was announced. But the most alluring moment was the arrival of Santa who enraptured everyone present with his charm and mystique. He distributed gifts among all the Students. The next major event of the day was the RANGOTSAV or the Drawing Fest. It was an open Art Carnival where all the Students and the Members of Staff including the Principal, participated very enthusiastically. The theme for the fest was DREAMS. It was an opportunity for everyone to display their artistic talents and they did…. Masterpieces were created in all the vibrant hues of the universe. The Principal, Mrs. Jyoti Nagranee extended her greetings to everyone. She shared her views on sincerity and honesty with parents, friends and family. It was a great fun-filled day.
