Honouring labour on ‘Labour Day’

Mahatma Gandhi had, once, very rightly remarked, “He who does not labour and yet eats, eats stolen food.”

There is dignity in every form of labour, and only those who value it, rise in life.

A Special Assembly was conducted by Grade 4 to mark this day and to pay tribute to all those who have carried the nation and the society forward by toiling hard. A very moving poem was recited by Dishika Vats which was followed by a very encouraging talk on labour by Ma’am Hemlata Bhardwaj.

Thereafter, all the Bhaiyas and Didis were thanked for their selfless and unending services. Students presented them beautiful cards and exhibited their gratitude.
