Special Assembly on Republic Day

As the nation looks forward to celebrating its 69th anniversary of the enforcement of its Constitution, there is an air of excitement coupled with patriotism everywhere.

A Special Assembly was held in DPWS to mark this special day.

It began with a prayer ‘Where the mind is without fear’ by all the students. Yashasvi Deshwal of Grade IV recited a poem. A very melodious rendition of the song ‘Dagar…. Dagar….’ held everyone captive, stirring a wave of patriotism. The significance of this day was shared by Vibhavaditya Sahu of Grade VI, in the form of a poem ‘26th January’, composed by Mrs. Maninder Pama, our Primary Head. A dance performance by the students of Grade III on “Maa..” was dedicated to their Mother India.

Our National Anthem “Jan..Gan.. Man…”, which is proudly sung by all the Indians across the globe, is a living example of the glory of this great country. The meaning of this song was explained by some students in an animated manner.

This Red-letter Day is not just to commemorate the efforts of all those great souls but it also reminds us of our duties as the citizens of India, to hold our laws and our constitution in high regard.
