Special Diwali Assembly

“The greatest significance of Diwali is to light up new, bright and colourful dreams, fresh hopes and undiscovered ways.”

The exhilaration and celebratory spirit that Diwali brings is unmatchable. To add to the festive fervour, students of Grade IV-A presented a Special Assembly on Diwali.

They began with a soulful chanting of shloks followed by a prayer to the Almighty. The Choir, in their dulcet voices, sang songs and hymns to add melody to the occasion. Sara Kharbanda of Grade VI recited a very inspiring poem with the message ‘live for others.’ A short enactment on the demon King, Narakasur and Satyabhama brought home the fact that evil must come to an end. The girls of Grade VI rocked the stage with their swaying moves.

As part of the Diwali Celebration the students also participated in the Diya Making and Thali Decoration Activities which they would proudly present to their parents as their creation.

The Vice Principal, Mrs. Maninder Pama conveyed her Diwali greetings and shared some tips on how to have a safe and environment-friendly Diwali.

Wishing everyone a very happy and prosperous Diwali!
