The RAINBOW at The Roseland

It was a gala evening at DPWS, Zirakpur, as the colours of the rainbow glowed in the Atrium with the little ones of The Roseland, our Pre-Primary wing, mesmerized everyone with their rocking performances at the cultural extravaganza put up by them and Grades I and II.

‘The Rainbow’ being the theme of the evening, a spectrum of colours radiated all over with li’l hands and feet flitting and frolicking on the stage in the ‘Fluttering Butterflies’ and the ‘Leaps and Bounces’. While ‘Blossoms in the Breeze’ added colour and charm to Mother Nature, ‘Tribal Call’ was a peep into the culture of the tribes. The grace and elegance of ‘The Flamenco’, the Spanish dance and the charisma of the Japanese Fan Dance was a sight to behold. The Rain Dance was an expression of the ‘Joy Within’, as rain lends beauty to Mother Nature. The seven colours of the rainbow displayed their significance in doing so.

In the Grand Finale all the participants and the teachers came together as true colours of the rainbow, adding beauty and vitality all around.

Principal Ma’am congratulated everyone on the success of the evening and thanked the students and the teachers for putting in all their best efforts and creativity to give shape to her ideas.

The grand evening concluded with the National Anthem.
