Inter-House ‘Young Chef’ Competition

It is said that eating is a necessity but cooking is an art which is not everyone’s cup of tea.

To inculcate love for this art, an Inter-House Young Chef Competition was organized for the students of Grades V to IX.

There were four teams of participants who were required to prepare a ‘Club Sandwich’ and a ‘Chaat’ each, focusing on the nutritional value of each. All the House teams put their best foot forward to outdo the others. Groups of busy children could be seen all around the Atrium chopping and mixing the required ingredients.

Beautifully and delectably laid tables with inviting platters were displayed making it challenging for the judges to pick out the winners.

Kaveri House emerged as the winner with 75 points followed by Brahmaputra with 69 points, Narmada with 58 points and Yamuna with 54 points respectively.
