DPS World School, Zirakpur organized a visit to the Fire Station, Sector 5, Panchkula on 17^th November, 2016 for the students of Classes Nursery and Prep as a part of the school activity.

The faculty members and the firemen made the students aware of various aspects related to fire station services. They were briefed about fire-attenders, fire alarm, fire extinguishers, dry gas CO_{2, etc.} and how they extinguish fire on tall buildings. The firemen explained the methods of fire fighting to the students by giving a demo in a play way method. The students were told about the fire station helpline number – 101 which must be used at the time of an emergency.

It was a very informative visit.
